The Texas Christian University Human Resources team is bringing a new monthly publication to employees’ inbox.
The teams@work newsletter, which will be distributed monthly through TCU Today, has been developed to provide timely team-strengthening information to employees in all roles, campus-wide. The goal is to support workplace conversations and nurture productive work cultures through engaging content and topics.
“Throughout the past year of incredible change, teams have found creative ways to navigate work. Most of us have also stumbled along the way. We’ve heard from many who want to avoid going “back to old ways” post-pandemic, and keep innovation going into the future – we intend for teams@work to support those conversations moving forward,” Mariam McGregor, director of employee engagement and organizational strategy, said.
While topics covered will vary, each publication will have a similar format and feel. Issues will include LinkedIn Learning topics, relevant web content as appropriate, and team conversation starters on the featured topic. Content will also provide information to support job satisfaction such as internal opportunities for leadership and professional development, cross-functional programming and ways to increase talent mobility at TCU.
“We plan to invite guest authors, highlight innovative workplace solutions, and connect to other HR/workplace initiatives to help strengthen TCU’s workplace culture, regardless of role or department,” McGregor said. “We’ll also share a little workplace fun, like music playlists.”
