The United States federal government has established various laws in the compensation/payment of international individuals. All international individuals receiving any form of compensation/payments from Texas Christian University are required to complete information in Glacier, on line software. The software is designed to allow an individual to complete all information from any computer with an Internet connection. This information is used to determine an individual’s residency tax status (nonresident or resident alien for tax purposes) and eligibility to claim a tax treaty exemption and/or the nonresident social security tax exemption.
The international employees will be notified by the Payroll Tax Coordinator, to complete the information in Glacier. For more information, click Glacier.
