International students are permitted to work on campus 20 hours per week.

Qualified students must be in possession of a valid F-1 or J-1 student visa with I-20 or DS 2019, a social security card and must be in good status with the INS. This must be approved and documented in three TCU departments:

  1. International Student Services Office
  2. Center for Career and Professional Development
  3. Human Resources.

Contact the International Student Services Office or call 817-257-7292.

This office will determine your eligibility to work at TCU and validate SEVIS requirements, complete I-9. Completing the I-9 requires evidence of the following documentation.  Take these documents with you when you go to the International Student Services Office:

  1. F-1 Visa
  2. I-20 or DS 2019
  3. Social Security Card
  4. Copy of Visa and Passport

This office will assist you with signing up to view on-campus jobs, completing Workers’ Compensation and Personal Data Forms. Take these documents with you when you go to the Center for Career and Professional Development:

  1. Completed and signed I-9 from International Student Services
  2. Social Security Card

The international student will be notified by the Payroll Department to complete the information in Glacier
