International Students
International students are permitted to work on campus 20 hours per week.
Qualified students must be in possession of a valid F-1 or J-1 student visa with I-20 or DS 2019, a social security card and must be in good status with the INS. This must be approved and documented in three TCU departments:
- International Student Services Office
- Center for Career and Professional Development
- Human Resources.

This office will determine your eligibility to work at TCU and validate SEVIS requirements, complete I-9. Completing the I-9 requires evidence of the following documentation. Take these documents with you when you go to the International Student Services Office:
- F-1 Visa
- I-20 or DS 2019
- Social Security Card
- Copy of Visa and Passport

This office will assist you with signing up to view on-campus jobs, completing Workers’ Compensation and Personal Data Forms. Take these documents with you when you go to the Center for Career and Professional Development:
- Completed and signed I-9 from International Student Services
- Social Security Card
The international student will be notified by the Payroll Department to complete the information in Glacier.
