To better serve TCU employees and provide more consistent, timely assistance, the Benefits Office is implementing dedicated daily walk-in service hours beginning May 1.

The office remains open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-in hours provide more efficient, focused in-person support.

Why is TCU implementing scheduled walk-in hours?

door-open

TCU’s Benefits team supports employees across multiple work shifts and a wide range of complex benefit programs, including health, retirement, leave, and compliance-related matters. As demand for benefits support continues to grow, establishing dedicated walk-in hours will help ensure employees can receive focused, in-person assistance.

door-openThis approach helps the team:

  • Ensure every visitor receives full, focused attention
  • Maintain privacy for sensitive benefit discussions
  • Complete time-sensitive benefit transactions accurately
  • Meet regulatory and payroll deadlines
  • Respond promptly to phone and email inquiries

Designated walk-in hours allow the team to thoughtfully coordinate availability so employees
can consistently access immediate, in-person assistance when they need it.

What does this mean for employees?

Employees may visit the Benefits Office without an appointment during two daily service windows:

Morning: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

These service windows were selected to support employees across a variety of TCU work schedules, including those who begin their shifts later in the day.

This approach makes it easier to plan when to stop by while still providing several ways to get help.

Employees who need assistance outside these windows may continue to:
Email hrbenefits@tcu.edu to schedule an appointment or request virtual assistance.
