A very successful 2025 staff performance cycle wrapped up on March 1.
Facilities had the highest completion rate, with 99% of all employees receiving a performance review. Self-evaluation completion by the entire campus almost doubled, from 635 in the 2024 cycle to 1,133 this year. The Library staff had the highest self-evaluation completion, with 90% participating in this step of the cycle.
Staff on campus have done an amazing job navigating the process of moving from a cycle that overlapped winter break to a cycle that by 2027 will finally align with the calendar year.
Manager Feedback is a Success
In 2024, a group of managers participated in a pilot program to receive feedback from their direct and indirect reports. As a result of the positive response and valuable information managers received, in 2025, all employees had the opportunity to provide feedback to their managers using the Manager Feedback Survey embedded in Page Up during the Self-Evaluation step. Managers who received feedback will begin to be contacted by an employee success partner to discuss.
Manager Feedback will continue as part of the performance cycle, helping managers gain timely, meaningful input from their teams.
2026: The Last Transition Year
To align the process completely with the calendar year in 2027, this is the last year of transition. Aligning with the calendar year maintains consistency with budget and salary planning. It also coincides with a change to January 1 for when end-of-year service milestones will be determined.
The 2026 Cycle Dates are:
- Goal Setting: May 1 – August 31
- Self-Evaluation: September 1 – October 14 Employees reflect on accomplishments and challenges, and complete a self-evaluation in Page Up before the system automatically moves to the next step.
- Manager Feedback Survey: Open during the Self-Evaluation Step
- Manager Review & Meetings: October 15 – December 15 Managers complete the final review using input from goal setting, any meetings throughout the year and self-evaluations.
Starting in 2027, the dates for the annual performance cycle will be:
- Goal Setting: January 1 - February 28, 2027
- Goal Check In & Feedback: April 1 - August 31, 2027
- Self-Evaluation: September 1 – October 14, 2027
- Manager Feedback Survey: Open during the Self-Evaluation Step
- Manager Review, Meeting & Acknowledgment: October 15 – December 15, 2027
