Sponsoring partner offices in the TCU Professional Leadership Rotation (PLR) program provide support for a holistic professional development experience.

The PLR program is designed to provide current TCU employees the opportunity for career exploration and skill development through a professional intern placement in a partnering campus office. Participants in this program will have a holistic professional development experience that will feature 3-5 hours of work per week in a different functional area, monthly educational sessions, and guided networking and leadership opportunities. The PLR program is a six- month program (May-October) including a designated three-month internship placement.

Sponsoring partner offices in the TCU Professional Leadership Rotation (PLR) program are expected to support a holistic professional development experience for a current TCU employee for a three-month summer placement beginning June 1, 2022.

As a sponsor, the engagement expectation from you includes:

    • managing the intern working in a your functional area for 3-5 hours per week
    • providing mentorship and developmental feedback
    • general oversight during this exploration of a new professional area for 8-12 weeks
