Frog Time is TCU’s electronic time and attendance system used to enter, track and approve hours worked by nonexempt staff, student and temporary employees.

From a timeclock, swipe your ID card or enter your TCU ID number. Select “Self Service”, then select “Hours.” The current pay week will appear. To approve your work hours select each check box for each time segment. Acknowledge the verification statement by clicking Yes. Then select the “Close” button. Then select logout. Use <Period & Period> buttons to view other pay weeks.
From the web clock, login to my.tcu.edu using your TCU username & password. Click on the Payroll Tile, then Frog Time. Click on the navigation menu (the three horizontal lines on the left side of the page), then click View, then Hours. The current pay week will appear. To approve your work hours select each check box under the Employee column for each time segment. Acknowledge the verification statement by clicking Yes.
To view other weeks use the right & left arrows under “Navigate Period.”

Department Managers determine which method they require their employees to record their worked hours. Employees should discuss with their supervisor whether they are to use a time clock or web clock.

If you forgot to clock in, reach out to your supervisor with your clock in time. Your supervisor can amend your time in for that day.
If you forgot to clock out, when you try to clock back in Frog Time will prompt you to fix your missing clock out. Follow the prompts to fix your missing clock out.

Nonexempt staff employees* will not need to clock in & out for lunch. We have automatically
scheduled lunch breaks based on the department’s work schedule provided to HR. Lunch
breaks will automatically be deducted from the total hours worked for that work day.
*Nonexempt staff employees with a regular job and additional temporary jobs on campus
will need to clock in & out for lunch.

Reach out to your supervisor. Your supervisor will update your time segment for the day, indicating you did not take a lunch break.

Department Managers can assign a time delegate that can approve hours when a direct
supervisor is unavailable. Instructions on assigning a delegate can be found here.
