TCU’s Professional Leadership Rotation Program Offers a Unique Experience for Current

What is the TCU Professional Leadership Rotation (PLR) Program?
The PLR program is designed to provide current TCU employees the opportunity for career exploration and skill development through a professional intern placement in a partnering campus office. Participants in this program will have a holistic professional development experience that will feature 3-5 hours of work per week in a different functional area, monthly educational sessions, and guided networking and leadership opportunities. The PLR program is a six- month program (May-October) including a designated three-month internship placement.

What is the role of a PLR Sponsor?
Sponsoring partner offices in the TCU Professional Leadership Rotation (PLR) program are expected to support a holistic professional development experience for a current TCU employee for a three-month summer placement beginning June 1, 2022.
As a sponsor, the engagement expectation from you includes:
- managing the intern working in your functional area for 3-5 hours per week
- providing mentorship and developmental feedback
- general oversight during this exploration of a new professional area for 8-12 weeks
How can I apply?
Sponsors and employees can apply by visiting the PLR page and completing an application.
- Sponsor applications are due by April 15.
- Participant applications open April 1.
What about the cost?
