During the summer months, we have enjoyed a relaxed dress code and prepared for the return of our students in the fall. As we look forward to their return, please take note of the following changes:
- TCU summer casual dress ends Friday, August 19.
- From August 22, 2022 – May 05, 2023, follow your departmental guidelines for attire and appearance. If your department has no published attire guidelines, employees are expected to choose attire that is considered reasonable and sensible for the job/position they hold at TCU.
- Many schools in Fort Worth, Tarrant County and surrounding areas hold First Day of School or Open House events to which parents, grandparents, and/or guardians are invited. The first day of school for FWISD is August 15; however, there are more than 125 public school districts as well as numerous private schools serving our immediate and surrounding areas. TCU supports work/life balance by approving up to two hours of flex-time for employees with school-aged children to participate in First Day of School or Open House events that occur during employees regularly scheduled shifts.
