American Healthcare Leader recently featured Michele Whiteley, director of benefits,
in a web article, for her focus on people.
“It’s all about the people and wanting to do something that is making a difference,” Whiteley said. “Working in benefits has a lot of challenging aspects, but when you put all of the pieces together, what we’re doing is impacting people in a way that improves their lives.”
After not being quite sure what she wanted to do as a career, Whiteley has worked in employee benefits for the last 20 years. She began her career in the “people department” at Southwest Airlines and has been at TCU for the last seven.
