RISK MANAGEMENT
The Risk Management Department can assist employees and students with a variety of issues:
- Automobile (rental, use on business, students driving, field trips, etc.)
- Liability (for student participation in non-tradition educational experiences, contracts, dealing with vendors, etc. )
- Workers compensation (for work related injuries)
- Safety

Environmental Health and Safety

Each member of the University family must accept the challenge of maintaining an accident-free environment. Deans, unit and department heads are responsible for implementing the appropriate safety procedures in their respective areas. All employees are expected to fully support the safety program, follow proper procedures, and ensure that equipment and facilities are maintained to desired standards. If your department needs assistance in establishing a safety program to meet compliance standards and government safety regulations please call the TCU Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator at 817-257-7220.

Personal Property on Campus
Personal property on campus is used at the owner’s risk. The University is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of your personal belongings. Any damage or loss of personal property should be reported to the appropriate homeowner/tenant insurance carrier. Employees are responsible for any deductible under the homeowner/tenant policy.
